sockgardener:

Created another lowpoly image today. This time a 3d version of ‘The Nostalgia of the Infinite’ by Giorgio de Chirico.

This one was a bit tougher, it’s multiple vanishing points and perspectives don’t equate to any kind of camera you can create in 3D so there was a lot of faking required.

Enjoyed making it, learned a lot (including some Sketch & Toon).

O.L. Vrouw ter Eik
A vintage postcard of the interior of the chapel of Our Lady of the Oak in Meerveldhoven, the Netherlands.
The site has been a place of pilgrimage since the 13th century, when a small statue of Mary miraculously returned to the oak tree on three occasions after a local farmer had taken it home.
